Karen M. McManus’s One Of Us Is Lying starts off by introducing everyone in detention; Bronwyn, Addi, Nate, Cooper and Simon, who were all furious after getting caught with a phone that they claim wasn’t theirs. One of them mysteriously dies due to an allergic reaction during detention while the teacher leaves the room. The author switches between each point of view to get a perspective on how each one of them is handling the death. What happens next will shock you.
So you see, what happens in the dark always comes to light…which is why you should read this book!!
